Just like in PlayStation CRITIQUE, I'll try to update regularly, but keep in mind that I am the only one responsible for maintaining the page, so it can be difficult at times (especially now that I have two pages). These news articles are related to the current status of the Sega Dreamcast and its games.

Dreamcast US plans

"Sega is starting to drop a few hints about the Dreamcast's future, both in the US and Japan. Recently, Sega vice president Tadahiko Hirose recently named a few DC titles he thought would be important for the US launch of the platform. Names he dropped included Virtua Fighter 3tb, Sonic Adventure and Sega Rally 2. Meanwhile, Sega Enterprises chairman Isao Okawa thinks that the Dreamcast can go beyond gaming and become a low-cost computer. Future DC peripherals in the works include a hard drive and a videophone-like camera. "PCs have become more powerful and inexpensive in the last few years," he says, "with a network infrastructure being formed. But, this is still expensive and difficult to learn. So, there are strong needs for an inexpensive, easy-to-use information terminal. We think that Dreamcast fits this need, and we want to prevail not only for home, but for offices, too." Now doesn't that sound great? A Dreamcast as required equipment in every office. Purely for work-related "information terminal" use, of course. " - GameDealer Online
